đ´Â  3′ x 5′ Evansville, Indiana flag with grommets and double-stitched edges to reduce fraying.
âď¸Â The Design: After a flag design contest, a design by Darren Wharton replaced the old Evansville Flag in 2024. It features a circular center element that includes the Four Freedoms Monument on top of three stripes of light blue, gold, and dark blue with the gold stripe being smaller than the other two.
The ten stars around the center element symbolize the ten letters in the name Evansville. The three white lines under the Four Freedoms Monument represent “The Heart of the Tri-State”. The three light blue lines represent the Wabash and Erie Canal (top), Pigeon Creek (middle), and the Ohio River (bottom).Â
